Michael is originally from Seattle, WA until he "headed south" in 2023. He began his music journey at a young age and has continued his journey for almost 20 years. Michael has spent much of his time in Alaska either fishing, commercial crabbing, or as a marine hydraulics mechanic.

Michael has two kids who "rock"!!

" I have way too many hobbies, but music is number one. Skateboarding might be a close second," Mike said.

Tyler McCormick is a drummer originally from Yucca Valley and is currently based in Kingman, AZ. Inspired at a young age by his older brother’s passion for music, he gravitated toward drums early on; Getting his first kit at 11 and quickly developing his skills through church worship teams and live band settings.By his mid-teens, Tyler was performing regularly and continued playing with various churches, building a strong foundation as a versatile, live-focused drummer. After relocating to Kingman in 2021, he immersed himself in the local music scene, attending open mics and connecting with other musicians.

In 2023, he met Headed South at a local open mic and began sitting in on drums. After several performances together, he officially joined the band, bringing his dynamic style and passion for live music to the group.

Alan, a Colorado native, has been in a few top rated and award winning bands in the Rocky Mountain region. While his musical taste leans to the heavier side, he enjoys all types of music, his favorites vary from metal to Celtic rock. Earlier on, his hobbies involved sports and racing; Everything from Football, Lacrosse to kayaks and motocross. Then he found the bass guitar. His love of low frequencies, timing and the way the bass sets the feel of a song won him over and he has been hooked on bass since. Alan “Headed South” (west) to Arizona and found a new home in Headed South, and is looking forward to what the future brings.
